Abstract :
A method of obtaining the multipath activity factor ¿ and mean multipath delay ¿0 from measurements of channel amplitude distortion has been developed. The activity factor and mean delay due to multipath fading are necessary as inputs to predict the performance of digital microwave radio systems operating on line-of-sight paths.
