Abstract :
A wavelength-multiplexed link in the 1.55 μm window has been installed in France. A 565 Mbit/s ASK channel at 1520 nm is multiplexed with a 1560 nm video SFM channel. It demonstrates the successful operation of the laser spectrum linewidth reduction by external cavity and wavelength demultiplexing by the STIMAX technology.
