Abstract
This paper demonstrates simultaneous two-dimensional mapping of multiple radionuclides which are present in a sample. The technique, which is based on position sensitive beta-gamma coincidence measurement, is applicable to most radionuclides that decay by beta emission followed by the emission of a coincident gamma-ray. In the present work, a Position Sensitive Photomultiplier Tube [PSPMT] is used for imaging the beta particles while a Ge detector is used to identify the radionuclides by detecting the coincident gamma-rays
