Abstract :
A postviewer is introduced that enables any three-dimensional solution to be examined. The main concern was to produce a tool that would be of use to both research and design activities. The philosophy of the approach used is discussed. The file organization used to provide easy electronic exchange of mesh data and solutions over a wide-area computer network is described. The selection of a solution surface, the display system, and the calculation of global quantities are considered
