  • Abstract
This quarterly, which comes in an attractive three-ring binder, is exactly what its subtitle says it is, namely a directory. It has been produced to help the user or software developer locate sources of existing software systems and programs that might fully or partially suffice to perform a specific systems or applications function. The emphasis has been on listing software for small computer systems, and most of the software listings carry a warranty on the content and operation of the software products; those which have no warranty are usually very low in price and thus pose limited risks. The editor states that his staff has spent over two man-years searching, soliciting, collecting, reviewing, and organizing the content of this quarterly. They have covered, and continue to cover with their updates, every known source of working minicomputer software including individuals, educational units, software firms, minicomputer firms, turnkey venders, users, etc.
