Abstract :
Current-mode integrated circuit design leads to the use of a current reference achieving good temperature compensation. A novel circuit is described, which has good performance based on a ratiometric expression that is easily reproduced. As a bonus, the circuit acts as a PTAT (proportional to absolute temperature) reference without any structural change.
