Abstract :
The IEEE Computer Society´s Technical Committee on Computer Elements held its annual workshop last June in Vail, Colorado. Below, Matt Slana of Bell Labs summarizes the highlights. As is traditional practice with most Computer Society workshops, a candid exchange of points of view was encouraged by guaranteeing anonymity for all speakers...which explains why no speakers are identified or quoted in the report.
