Abstract :
Quantitative data on the field strength inside a parabolic cylinder when excited by a normally incident uniform plane wave are provided. The result is given in the form of contours of electric field within the cylinder and current distributions on the reflector, both for different focal-length/aperture (f/a) ratios.
