  • Abstract
    A small, easy-to-use and low-cost electronic compass for the use of blind or deaf-blind pedestrians (ECBDB) has been built. This compass can distinguish eight orientations and output the corresponding electrical signals in the form of audio for the blind or electric pulses for the deaf-blind to aid him/her to know which direction he/she is facing.
