Abstract :
A charge-coupled device is described in which there is nondestructive charge sensing in every bit by using an integrated f.e.t. The f.e.t.s are capable of swinging up to 40 V across high-impedance loads, and it is shown that the device is suitable for receiving information in serial form and using it to address a liquid-crystal display.
