Abstract :
This paper describes the application of a phenomenological core model ref. [1] in the new SYSCAPTM2.5 circuit analysis program. Six commonly used core materials have been characterized using the model as programmed in SYSCAPTM2.5. The core model, in conjunction with a general purpose transformer model, has been used extensively to analyze circuits using flux oscillators, magnetic amplifiers, and various D.C. to D.C. converters.
