  • Abstract
    Uniform diffraction coefficients for an astigmatic electromagnetic wave normally incident on a wedge having curved faces with given surface impedances are derived from the earlier work of Maliuzhinets. These coefficients are to be used with standard formulas in the geometrical theory of diffraction to predict diffraction effects from structures having impedance surfaces terminating in an edge.
