Abstract :
Transients are computed on a multiple instruction/multiple data (MIMD) parallel processor system. Several communicating processes are generated by splitting the lines of a network. The implementation on a real multiple processor system is described. Problems are elaborated and one possible solution is suggested. Specific examples achieved on a network of 8 transputers are discussed. The relation between the structure of a network and its potential speedup with this method is discussed.<>
