Abstract :
A problem of delay reduction for video streams controlled by the 802.11e hybrid co-ordinator is considered. The problem is formulated as optimisation by linear programming that enables the simplex algorithm to be used for its optimal solution. Performance of the linear programming algorithm is evaluated and compared with a simple approach of transmission demand reduction.
