Abstract :
In this letter we introduce a general technique for the design of nonmonotonic lowpass filters having multiple pairs of transmission zeros and the characteristic of minimum least-mean-square. error in any interval in the passband. Many recently-derived filters can be shown to be special cases of this new approximation.
