Abstract :
An efficient algorithm for computing the maximum-likelihood estimates of multiple signals observed by an array of sensors is presented. The algorithm provides estimates of parameters related to the directional patterns of the sources as well as estimates of the location parameters of the sources. Furthermore, the algorithm is equally applicable to wideband sources and narrowband sources and does not require a knowledge of the statistical properties of the signals
