هوانيروز يگان متحرك هوايي نيروي زميني ارتش است كه معمولاً همراه با ساير نيروهاي رزمي و پشتيباني رزمي به كار مي‌رود. و در ارتش‌هاي جهان اهميت زيادي دارد. پس از تهاجم سراسري ارتش عراق به جمهوري اسلامي ايران ، هوانيروز ارتش به‌عنوان نيروي واكنش سريع ، نقش مؤثري در كندكردن پيش‌روي دشمن، انهدام تجهيزات، ادوات زرهي و تثبيت متجاوز ايفا نمود. بر اين اساس نوشتار حاضر در صدد پاسخ به اين پرسش است كه نقش هوانيروز در عمليات واكنش سريع با تأكيد بر عملكرد هوانيروز ارتش در جنگ ايران و عراق در سال اول جنگ تحميلي در منطقه جنوب چگونه بوده است؟ براي تبيين اين موضوع، اهداف تحقيق، كه نقش هوانيروز ارتش در انهدام تجهيزات، ادوات زرهي و تثبيت متجاوز مي‌باشد مورد بررسي قرار خواهد گرفت. روش تحقيق توصيفي بوده، و با بهره‌گيري از اسناد و مدارك، خاطرات رزمندگان و كتابخانه تخصصي اطلاعات لازم جمع‌آوري شده است.

The army aviation is the air mobile unit for the Army that is used usually with the other combat troops and combat support units and is very important for the Armies. After the invasion of the Iraqi army, IRI's Army Aviation as a rapid reaction force had an effective role in slowing the enemy's onrush, destruction of equipment, armor gear and consolidation the aggression. Accordingly, the present article seeks to answer the question: how has the role of Army Aviation been in rapid response operations, emphasizing the performance of military aviation in the first year of Iran-Iraq war in the south? To illustrate this subject, research objectives including the role of military aviation in the destruction of equipment, armor and fixing is aggressor will be examined. The method of this study is descriptive (case study); using documents, memoirs of combatants and specialized library, necessary data was gathered.
