The effect of cultural intelligence on communication skills

تاثير هوش‌فرهنگي بر مهارت‌هاي ارتباطي

مقدمه: در محيط­ هاي تحصيلي و كاري متنوع قرن حاضر، لازم است استرس ­هاي ناشي از شوك فرهنگي و اختلالات و پيامدهاي ناشي از تعارضات فرهنگي به نحو مطلوب اداره شود. از اين رو هوش فرهنگي به طور فزاينده­اي در دنياي رقابتي امروز اهميت يافته است. هدف از اين پژوهش، بررسي تاثير ميزان­ هوش ­فرهنگي بر بهبود مهارت­هاي ارتباطي دانشجويان است. روش­ كار: در اين تحقيق پيمايشي جامعه آماري شامل دانشجويان دانشگاه­ هاي آزاد اسلامي خراسان رضوي است كه در سال تحصيلي 92-1391 مشغول تحصيل بوده و تعداد آنها حدود 8259 نفر مي­ باشد. در اين تحقيق، با شيوه نمونه­ گيري مرحله­ اي از بين دانشگاه­ هاي خراسان رضوي، دانشگاه­ هاي شهرهاي مشهد، قوچان، تربت حيدريه، تربت جام و كاشمر، انتخاب شدند و از بين دانشجويان تحصيلات تكميلي شهرهاي مذكور، به روش طبقه­ اي متناسب با حجم، حجم نمونه 370 نفر در نظر گرفته شد. ابزار پژوهش شامل پرسش­نامه هوش فرهنگي بود و تحليل آماري با استفاده از نرم ­افزار SPSS و آزمون­هاي كولموگروف-اسميرنوف و همبستگي اسپيرمن انجام شد. يافته­ ها: هوش ­فرهنگي دانشجويان بر مهارت­هاي ارتباطي آن­ها، مهارت­هاي كلامي، شنود و بازخورد، تاثير معني ­دار دارد (001/0>P). نتيج ه­گيري: نتايج پژوهش حاضر نشان داد كه هوش ­فرهنگي دانشجويان بر مهارت­هاي ارتباطي آن­ها، موثر است.

Introduction: In the diverse educational and work environment of the present century, stresses due to cultural shock and disturbances and consequences of cultural conflicts should be properly managed. Therefore cultural intelligence has become increasingly important in today's competitive world. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of cultural intelligence on improving the communication skills of students. Materials and Methods: In this survey, the statistical population is all students of Islamic Azad University of Khorasan Razavi, who study in the academic year 2012-13 as number about 8259 people. A sampling method was multi-phase and universities of Mashhad, Quchan, Torbat Heydarieh, Torbat Jam and Kashmar were selected so the sample size as 370 cases is considered. Research instrument was cultural intelligence questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using SPSS software, Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Spearman coefficient. Results: Cultural intelligence has significant effects on students' communicative skills, listening skills, verbal skills and feedback skills (P<0.001). Conclusion: In general, cultural intelligence is effective on students' communicative skills.
