بررسي شيوع كيست ها و تومورهاي ادنتو ژنيك و غير ادنتوژنيك استخواني خوش خيم مراجعه كننده به دانشكده دندانپزشكي و بيمارستان الزهراي اصفهان در 15 سال منتهي به 1388

A study on the prevalence of benign, bony, odontogenic and nonodontogenic cysts and tumors among patients admitted to Esfahan dental school and Al-zahra hospital (1995-2010

مقدمه : تومورها و كيست هاي خوش خيم فكين شامل گروه پيچيده اي از ضايعات با نماي بافت شناسي و باليني مختلف هستند كه منشأ دنداني و گاهاً غير دنداني دارند، از ساير كيست هاي استخوان هاي ديگر بدن شايع ترند و مي توانند منجر به بروز شكستگي پاتولوژيك در فك شوند. هدف از اين مطالعه بررسي شيوع كيست ها و تومورهاي ادنتوژنيك / غير ادنتوژنيك در طي 15 سال گذشته دانشكده دندانپزشكي اصفهان و بيمارستان الزهرا بود. مواد و روشها :246 پرونده در بخش پاتولوژي دانشكده دندانپزشكي و بيمارستان الزهرا اصفهان، مربوط به كيست ها و تومورهاي ادنتوژنيك و غير ادنتوژنيك بررسي شدند. داده هاي حاصل از بررسي فراواني با نرم افزار SPSS آناليز و پردازش گرديد و داده ها با هم مقايسه شدند. (0/05=α) يافته ها: كيست هاي ادنتوژنيك در مجموع 187 مورد، كيست هاي غير ادنتوژنيك 9 مورد، تومورهاي ادنتوژنيك 47 مورد و تومورهاي غير ادنتوژنيك 3 مورد بود. شيوع كيست ها و تومورهاي ادنتوژنيك در سنين 30-16 سال و در مردان بيشتر بود. شيوع كيست هاي غير ادنتوژنيك در دو جنس برابر بود. تومورهاي غير ادنتوژنيك در سنين ميانسالي و در زنان بيشتر وجود داشت . نتيجه گيري: شيوع كيست هاي ادنتوژنيك اختلاف معناداري نسبت به تومورهاي ادنتوژنيك و بيشترين شيوع را داشتند ( 0/048=P value) تومورهاي ادنتوژنيك ،كيست هاي غير ادنتوژنيك و تومورهاي غير ادنتوژنيك به ترتيب در رتبه‌هاي بعدي قرار داشتند. در 5 ساله سوم تعداد مراجعين افزايش نشان داد.

Introduction: Tumors and cysts comprise a complicated group of lesions characterize histologically and manifested clinically in a wide variety of ways. As far as dental origin is concerned, some cysts and tumors are odontogenic and still some others are non- odontogenic. On the whole, maxillary cysts are more common than other bone cysts, and actually rank first in prevalence. It must noted that cysts and tumors give rise to maxillary fractures. The aim of this study was Assessment prevalence and frequencies of non- odontogenic and odontogenic cysts & tumors in 15 years ago In the isfahan dental school and Alzahra hospital. Materials and Methods: The necessary data was collected on odontogenic and non odontogenic tumors and cysts cases filed in the Surgery ward, and Disease and Pathology ward, Dentistry College and also those cases filed at Maxillofacial Surgery ward, Alzahra Hospital , Isfahan, Iran. Also, the patients, gender, age, disease recurrence and the time of pathological analysis were recorded for more detailed evaluation. Results: Of the cases filed from 1994 to 2008, there were 187 cases of odontogenic, 9 cases of non –odontogenic cysts, and also 47 odontogenic and 3 cases of non- odontogenic tumors. While odontogenic cysts were more commonly observed in men of 16 to 30, non – Odontogenic cysts were equally dispersed between men and women and across all age ranges. Moreover, the odontogenic tumors were also seen to belong to men of 16 to 30. In contrast, the nonodontogenic tumors were more prevalent in women in their mid life. Conclusion: Odontogenic cysts compared with odontogenic tumors were significantly more common (Pvalue 0.048). Next in terms of prevalence are odontogenic tumors, followed by non – odontogenic cysts and finally non – odontogenic tumors. The concluding point in the present research is that odontogenic cysts and tumors arc more in comparison with non – odontogenic ones.
