بررسي ميزان آگاهي بيماران از منشور حقوق بيمار: مطالعه موردي در بيمارستان هاي آموزشي شهر يزد؛ 1390

Patients' Awareness about the Patients’ Rights Legislation: A Case Study in Educational Hospitals of Yazd city, 2011

مقدمه: منشور حقوق بيمار به منظور بهبود ارتباط بين بيمار و ارائه دهندگان خدمت و بالا بردن كيفيت خدمات طراحي شده است. هدف از اين مطالعه، بررسي ميزان آگاهي بيماران بستري در بيمارستان­ هاي آموزشي شهر يزد از منشور حقوق بيمار و ارائه راهكارهاي مناسب در سال 1390 بود. مواد و روش­ ها: مطالعه حاضر از نوع توصيفي تحليلي مي­باشد كه به صورت مقطعي در سال 1390 انجام گرفته است. جامعه پژوهش شامل بيماران بستري در بيمارستان­ هاي آموزشي شهر يزد بود كه از بين آنها تعداد 320 نفر به عنوان نمونه به صورت طبقه ­اي- تصادفي انتخاب شدند. جمع­ آوري اطلاعات توسط پرسشنامه سه قسمتي استاندارد كه شامل مشخصات فردي پاسخگو، حقوق بيمار و نظرسنجي از بيماران مي­ باشد، و تجزيه و تحليل داده ­ها با استفاده از آزمون­ هاي آماري كاي اسكوئر و فيشر انجام شد. يافته­ ها: نتايج نشان داد كه ميزان آگاهي بيماران از حيطه­ هاي منشور حقوق بيمار در سطح ضعيفي بوده است به طوري كه 67/7 درصد از بيماران در حيطه حق دسترسي به خدمات درماني، 71/3 درصد در حيطه حق رضايت آگاهانه؛ 64/7 درصد در حيطه حق آزادي بيماران و 44/7 درصد در حيطه حق محرمانه ماندن اطلاعات از آگاهي ضعيفي برخوردار بودند و تنها 88 درصد از بيماران در حيطه آگاهي از فرايند درمان، آگاهي بالايي را برخوردار بوده­ اند. نتيجه­ گيري: ارائه برنامه­ هاي آموزشي، نصب منشور حقوق بيمار در قسمت­ هاي مختلف بيمارستان و اطلاع ­رساني به بيماران در زمينه حقوقشان مي­ تواند گام موثري در جهت ارتقاء آگاهي بيماران از منشور حقوق بيمار باشد.

Introduction: Patients’ rights legislation is designed to improve the communication between patients and the health care providers, which enhances the quality of service. The purpose of this study was to survey the awareness of patients hospitalized in the educational hospitals of Yazd city about patients’ rights legislation and providing appropriate strategies. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2011. The study population included patients hospitalized in the educational hospitals of Yazd city. Three hundred twenty people were selected as the sample with stratified random sampling. Data collection was done through a standard three-part questionnaire that included demographic information, patients' rights and interview with the patients. Data analysis was done using Chi-square and Fisher by SPSS 16 software. Results: Results showed that patients 'awareness about patients’ rights legislation in hospitals was at a low level, so that in the area of access to health care (67.7% of patients); The area of informed consent (71.3% of patients), In the area of freedom (64.7% of patients) and the area of the right to confidentiality (44.7% of patients) had poor knowledge Only within the area of the knowledge of the treatment process the patients had good knowledge (88%). Conclusion: Providing educational programs, installation of patients’ rights legislation in different parts of the hospital and informing the patients about their rights in the hospital can be effective steps for improving the patient's awareness about patients’ rights legislation.
