تعيين ميزان دستيابي به اهداف آموزشي گروه هاي پريو و ترميمي دانشكده دندانپزشكي زاهدان در سال 94 – 93

Evaluation of the Achievement of Educational Objectives in Restorative Dentistry and Periodontics Departments in Zahedan Faculty of Dentistry during 2014-2015

مقدمه: ارزشيابي يك فرآيند مستمر مي باشد كه درك، ارتقاي يادگيري وتغييرات لازم براي دستيابي به اهداف آموزشي را مورد توجه قرار مي دهد. هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسي توانمندي دانشجويان دندانپزشكي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي زاهدان از طريق تعيين نظرات آنها نسبت به ميزان دستيابي به اهداف يادگيري دروس نظري وعملي پريودانتيكس وترميمي در سال تحصيلي 94-93 بود . مواد و روش ها: در اين مطالعه مقطعي، توصيفي- تحليلي كه در سال تحصيلي 94 -93 انجام شد، 100 نفر دانشجوي دندانپزشكي كه همه واحدهاي تئوري و عملي آموزشي پريودونتولوژي و ترميمي را گذرانده بودند، به عنوان جمعيت مورد مطالعه، درنظر گرفته شدند. سپس پرسشنامه هايي در هر يك از دروس پريودونتولوژي و ترميمي طراحي گرديد. پرسشنامه پريودونتولوژي با روايي و پايايي 0/9 (0/9=CVR و 0/9=CVI) و پرسشنامه گروه ترميمي با روايي و پايايي 0/8 (0/8=CVR و 0/8=CVI) مورد تاييد قرار گرفتند (سوالات پرسشنامه به صورت جداول در انتها ضميمه شده است). يافته ها: ميانگين نمرات توانمندي دانشجويان از ديدگاه خودشان براي دستيابي به اهداف درس پريودنتولوژي، 5 درصد عالي، 30 درصد خوب، 56 درصد متوسط و 9 درصد ضعيف بود و براي درس ترميمي 17 درصد عالي، 39 درصد خوب، 34 درصد متوسط و 10 درصد ضعيف بود. نتيجه گيري: با توجه به نتايج بالا، از ديدگاه دانشجويان، توانمندي آنان در دستيابي به اهداف آموزشي مطلوب نبود. با مشخص شدن نقاط ضعف و قوت دانشجويان در هريك از دروس پريودنتولوژي و ترميمي، به نظر مي رسد براي برنامه آموزشي اين بخش ها نياز به بازنگري و رفع نقايص باشد.

Introduction: Evaluation is an ongoing process, which leads to understanding and improvement of learning, and also signifies the changes that are necessary to achieve the educational objectives. Regarding this, the present study aimed to evaluate the capabilities of the dental students of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, Zahedan, Iran, by investigating their viewpoints regarding the achievement of the educational objectives of the theoretical and practical courses of periodontics and restorative dentistry within the academic year of 2014-2015. Materials & Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive analytical study was conducted on 100 dentistry students that had passed all the theoretical and practical units of the restorative dentistry and periodontology during 2014- 2015. For the purpose of data collection, two questionnaires were designed for each of the periodontology and restorative courses. The reliabilities of the periodontology and restoration questionnaires were 0.9 (CVR= 0.9 and CVI= 0.9) and 0.8 (CVR= 0.8, CVI= 0.8), respectively. Results: The mean scores of the students’ self-perceived capability in terms of achieving the objectives of the periodontology course demonstrated that 5%, 30%, 56%, and 9% of the students reported to achieve the educational objectives at excellent, good, medium, and poor levels, respectively. Regarding the restorative dentistry course, these rates were found to be 17 %, 39 %, 34%, and 10% for the respective levels. Conclusion: As the results of the present study indicated, from the students’ perspectives, their capabilities to achieve the educational goals were not at a favorable level. Considering the strengths and weaknesses of the students in each course of restoration and periodontology, it seems that the associated educational programs need to be reviewed in order to correct the related deficiencies.
