داستان شيخ صنعان از حكايات طولاني منطق الطير است. اين حكايت را از جنبه هاي مختلف: ادبيات سمبليك، هرمنوتيك، شخصيت پردازي، روانكاري و عرفان بررسي كرده اند. در اين پژوهش حكايت شيخ صنعان از جنبه ملامت انديشي و اصول ادب ملامتي بررسي مي شود. بررسي ها نشان مي دهد كه اين حكايت ملامتي است و عطار انديشه ملامتي را در آن به كار برده و شخصيت شيخ صنعان در حقيقت نمودي از خود شاعر است. نگارنده پس از تعريف ملامتيه و مراجعه به منابع و فرهنگ ها و پژوهش هاي مرتبط و معتبر اصول و چهار چوب ملامت انديشي را در اين حكايت كاويده است. با دلايل پژوهشي خواننده را اقناع مي كند كه عطار در حكايت شيخ صنعان و دختر ترسا ملامتي است و ملامتي مي انديشد.

This story has been surveyed from various aspects of the symbolic literature, hermeneutics, characterization, psychoanalysis and mystical.in this research, Sheikh sanan story is surveyed from the point of view of blame and principle of blaming genre. studies show that the story is blame and Attar uses the blame thought and the character of Sheikh sanan is actually appearance of poet. After defining the blame and referring to resources and dictionaries and connected and authentic searches, the author has searched the principles of thinking blame for this story. He convinces the reader for research reasons that Attar is in the story of Sheikh Sanan and daughter of Tarsa blame worthy (mallamatie) and is thinking of blame.
