Why Sociology of Knowledge not Concluded in Sociology of Scientific Knowledge?

هدف: مسئلۀ اصلي اين تحقيق پاسخ به اين دو پرسش بود كه: اولاً چه تلقي اي از علم سبب شد تا جامعه شناسان معرفت نتوانند محتواي معرفت علمي را مورد بررسي هاي جامعه شناختي قرار دهند؟ ثانياً چه عواملي سبب شد تا تامس كوهن توانست براي اولين بار اين كار را انجام دهد؟ روش: روش تحقيق، اسنادي - تحليلي بود و با مراجعه به متون جامعه شناسي معرفت، فلسفۀ علم و جامعه شناسي معرفت علمي سعي شد تا پرسشهاي ذكر شده بررسي شوند. يافته ها و نتيجه گيري: جامعه شناسان معرفت به دليل نگرش پوزيتيويستي نتوانستند معرفت علمي را مورد كاوش هاي جامعه شناختي قرار دهند؛ در حالي كه تامس كوهن به دليل آشنايي با فلسفۀ ويتگنشتاين و برگرفتن نگرشي غير پوزيتيويستي، كوشيد براي اولين بار امكان بررسي جامعه شناختي معرفت علمي را مطرح كند.

Objectives:Why did sociology of knowledge could not show the relationship between scientific theories and the social context within which it arises? What prompted Thomas Kuhn toward sociology of scientific knowledge? Method: The method of this research is ducumantry- analytical using sociology of knowledge, philosophy of science and sociology of scientific knowledge texts for answering the questions. Results and Conclusion: The author of the present article concluded that sociology of knowledge could not show the relationship between scientific theories and the social context because the conception of science from sociological point of view is positivistic; while Thomas Kuhn -influenced by Wittgenstein and his nonposivistic view - was able to show the possibility of sociology of scientific knowledge for the first time.
