چكيده فارسي :
چكيده در مطالعات تاريخي و ادبي، دوره بندي ايده اي سامان بخش به شمار مي رود كه اطّلاعات تاريخي- ادبي را در محور درزماني طبقه بندي مي كند امّا كاربست آن در تاريخ ادبي، انتقادهايي نيز برانگيخته است. اين نوشته، به طرح و بررسي نقدهاي وارد بر دوره بندي در تاريخ ادبي و بازانديشي آن مي پردازد. مباحث انتقادي مربوط به دوره بندي در دو دسته جاي مي گيرند: گروهي اصل عمل دوره بندي را زير سؤال مي برند و آن را فاقد روايي در مطالعات ادبي مي شمارند. دسته اي ديگر از منتقدان، بيش از آن كه اعتبار اصل دوره بندي را زير سؤال ببرند، به بازانديشي و اصلاح كاربرد آن نظر دارند. تحميل چارچوبي ايستا بر پويايي فرهنگي و ادبي، اثر يكسان ساز و تضاد با يگانگي آثار ادبي، آميختن تاريخ انواع مختلف ادبي، عدم انطباق با واقعيّت، يكدستي و انسجام ساختگي انگاره هاي تغيير و تكامل، مسائل اصطلاحات دوره بندي و توصيف گرهاي آن، زمان پريشي، سال ها و قرن هاي گمشده، ناديده گرفتن فاصلۀ توليد و خوانش ادبي، دور منطقي، ناديده گرفتن گروه هاي قومي و جنسيّتي و تسلّط مفاهيم دوره اي بر انديشۀ منتقدان ادبي از مهم ترين نقدهايي است كه بر ايدۀ دوره بندي و كاربست آن در تاريخ ادبي وارد شده است. بازانديشي دوره بندي نيز علاوه بر اين كه مبتني بر يافته هاي جديد تاريخي و ادبي است و گاه به بازتعريف حدود زماني دوره ها تمركز دارد، در چارچوب هاي مختلفي در جريان است: رويكردهاي فمنيستي، توجّه به گروه هاي قومي و نژادي و بازتعريف دورۀ ادبي بر بنياد مفاهيم جديد انتقادي

Criticizing and Rethinking of Periodization in Literary History Abstract In historical and literary studies, periodization is a regulative idea for classifying the literary and historical information in diachronic axis but its application in literary history has been subject to some critiques. This article is to study the critical debates about periodization in literary history and the rethinking of the concept. We can divide these critical debates in two groups: some critics call the very notion into question and refer to as invalid concept. Instead, others engage in rethinking and revising the concept for appropriate application in literary history. Imposition of a static framework on cultural and literary dynamics, averaging effect and contrast with uniqueness of literary works, combining histories of different literary genres, lack of conformity with reality, artificial homogeneity and consistency of change and evolution schemas, problems of terminology and descriptive, anachronism, lost years and centuries, ignoring the distance between literary production and literary reading, logical sequence, ignoring ethnic and gender groups and dominance of period concepts on critical thought are some critiques against periodization and its application in literary history. Rethinking of periodization, being based upon new historical and literary findings and sometimes focusing on redefinition of temporal limits of periods, is current in different frameworks: feminist approaches, according to ethnic and gender groups, and redefinition of literary periods based on new critical concepts
