A Reflection on the Possibility of Political Subject According to Ernesto Laclau’s Theory

ارنستو لاكلائو، نظريه‌پرداز پساماركيست، تلاش مي‌كند با رويكردي پساساختارگرايانه و با بسط نظريه‌ي گفتمان، مسائل و معضلات ماركسيسم را مورد بازبيني قرار دهد. سوژه سياسي يكي از مسائلي است كه سنت ماركسيستي از ابتدا با آن مواجه بوده و با توجه به تغييرات سياسي و اجتماعي امروزي اين مسئله پيچيده‌تر نيز شده است. لاكلائو براي تعريف و بازيافتن سوژه سياسي از نظريه ي گفتمان بهره مي‌برد و سوژه را در گفتمان شناسايي مي‌كند؛ چيزي كه آن را «مواضع سوژه» مي‌خواند. با ايجاد آنتاگونيسم ميان گفتمان‌ها و ازجادررفتگي گفتمان، سوژه دچار بحران هويت شده و ناچار به هويت‌يابي دوباره است؛ امري كه «سوژه به‌مثابه مكان تصميم» معرفي مي‌شود. نظريه‌ي «پوپوليسم» لاكلائو در گام آخر ناظر بر شكل‌گيري سوژه‌ي جمعي و راستين سياسي است كه مهم‌ترين نظريه لاكلائو قلمداد مي‌شود. براساس يافته‌ هاي اين تحقيق، نظريه ي لاكلائو درباره‌ي سوژه به‌مثابه مكان تصميم، فلسفي‌ترين بخش نظريه‌ي اوست كه او را در گفتگو با فيلسوفان مهم تاريخ قرار مي‌دهد و امكان سخن گفتن از سوژه را از نو مي‌آفريند.

Ernesto Laclau, the Post-Marxist theorist strives to re-examine problems of Marxism by implementing a Poststructuralist approach and developing discourse theory. Political subject is one of the issues which classic Marxism has always faced with and considering the social and political changes today it has become further complicated. Laclau uses discourse theory for defining and reviving political subject and identifies subject in discourse as “Subject Positions”. With antagonism among discourses and their dislocation the subject goes through an identity crisis and has no choice but to re-identify, and by doing so, the subject is reintroduced as “subject as the distance from undecidability to decision”. In the last step, Laclau’s Populism theory indicates formation of collective and truly political subject which is considered his most important theory. According to the results of this study, Laclau’s theory about subject as the distance from undecidability to decision is the most philosophical part of his theory which engages him in a dialogue with the prominent philosophers of the history and recreates the possibility of talking about subject
