اين مقاله به بررسي نقش وجايگاه شاخصه هاي داخلي و خارجي در تغيير سياست خارجي باراك اوباما در قبال مسئله هسته اي ايران مي‌پردازد. سئوال اصلي پژوهش اين است كه چه مولفه هايي در سياست خارجي مبتني بر «تغيير» اوباما در قبال ايران تاثيرگذار بوده است؟ فرضيه اصلي مقاله اين است كه سياست «تغيير» اوباما با علم به شكست‌هاي گذشته و عدم همراهي نهادهاي داخلي آمريكا مبتني بر پذيرش شكست سياست‌هاي قبلي بوده است. علاوه بر آن در بعد بين المللي، جامعه جهاني حاضر به همراهي با سياست تحريم و تهديد ايران نبوده است(لازم به يادآوري است كه بعدها، تحريم به يكي از ابزارهاي مهم اوباما تبديل شد اما در ابتدا بدون پيش شرط وارد مذاكره با ايران شد). بنابراين آمريكاي دوران اوباما ناچار به گذار از رويكردهاي قبلي به سمت پذيرش غني سازي توسط ايران به منظور جلوگيري از هسته‌اي شدن ايران و به اميد بهبود روابط دو كشور در آينده بوده است. روش تحقيق در اين مقاله توصيفي-تحليلي مي باشد.

This article examines the role and place of internal and external attributes in Barack Obama's foreign policy on Iran's nuclear issue. The main hypothesis of the paper is that the failure of US foreign policy of the past presidents, especially George W. Bush to confront Iran and the lack of coordination with the domestic institutions of America with the continuation of the former approaches on the one hand and the international environment on the other, forced Obama to change foreign policy in Formerly, Iran's nuclear crisis has occurred. In this regard, it can be said that the failure of the threats and sanctions approach to deal with Iran is not enough, but Obama's "change" policy requires acceptance of the failure of previous policies. In addition, in the international dimension, the international community has not been prepared to accompany Iran's sanctions and threats policy. Therefore, the Obama administration has had to move from previous approaches to Iran's enrichment acceptance in order to prevent Iran from becoming nuclear, hoping to improve relations between the two countries in the future. The research method in this article is descriptive-analytic.
