تحليل شخصيت­هاي سياسي و درك محيطي كه در آن به قدرت رسيده­اند، يكي از محورهاي اصلي تحليل­هاي حوزه زبان­شناسي سياسي است. اهميت اين بحث در رابطه با مطالعه شخصيت­هاي پوپوليست در اين است كه قدرت­يابي پوپوليسم ملي‌گرا به‌دليل داشتن پيشينه­اي خشونت­بار، مي‌تواند ترسي غير ارادي را در ما زنده كند. ترسي كه با پيروزي دونالد جان ترامپ در انتخابات رياست جمهوري 2016 ايالات متحده امريكا، سر بر آورد و يادآور خاطرات نسل فراموش شده رهبراني شد كه با سخنراني‌هاي آتشين و شعارهاي پوپوليستي، طبقات مختلف اجتماعي را براي تسخير دنيا تهييج كردند. حال با گذر شخصيت ترامپ از دوران نامزدي به دوران تصدي پست رياست جمهوري ايالات متحده آمريكا، مي‌توانيم از ثبات برخي از تكنيك‌هاي سخنراني وي دركي روشمند پيدا كنيم و بيش از گذشته بتوانيم آن را تحليل كنيم. پرسش اصلي اين است كه چگونه مي­توان رفتار ترامپ را از طريق منطق زبان‌شناختي- بلاغي و تكنيك هاي مندرج در آن درك، تحليل و پيش‌بيني كرد؟ صرف‌نظر از ميزان موفقيت ترامپ در رسيدن به اهدافش، او چندين تكنيك و تاكتيك خاص را براي القاي مفاهيم موردنظرش به كار مي­گيرد كه منحصر به زمان راي جمع كردن وي نيست. بدين منظور، ده‌ها سخنراني و مقاله‌ براي پيدا كردن ظرافت‌هاي هدفمند در كلام ترامپ، اين فروشنده‌ي قهار واژه‌ها، بررسي شده است. هدف اصلي مقاله حاضر ارائه تحليلي زبان­شناختي از ادبيات و محتواي سخنان ترامپ و فهم­پذير كردن برخي از ويژگي­هاي شخصيتي او است.

The empowerment of nationalist populism, because of its violent background, can evoke an uncontrollable fear in us. This fear re-emerged with the victory of Donald John Trump in the US presidential election of 2016 and reminded the memories of the forgotten generation of leaders who, with fiery speeches and populist slogans, stirred up various social classes to conquer the world. Now with the transition of Trump's personality from the time of the campaign to his tenure as president of the United States, we can be more confident in the stability of some of his speech techniques and can analyze it even further. The main question is how can we understand, analyze, and predict Trump's behavior through linguistic-rhetorical reasoning and its methods? Regardless of how successful Trump is in achieving his goals, he employs a number of special techniques and tactics for inculcating his concepts that are not limited to the time of securing votes, and one can expect him to employ them again in meetings with political leaders and people of the other countries. Therefore, dozens of lectures and articles have been scrutinized to find the purposeful delicacies in Trump’s wordings, this master salesman of words. The main purpose of the present article is to provide a better understanding of the literature and content of Trump’s speeches and to make some of his personality traits comprehensible.
