پس از جنگ سرد و فروپاشي نظام دوقطبي، نظام بين‌الملل جديد با نوعي ابهام در تبيين سامانِ نظم جديد روبرو شد. اين ابهام موجد سناريوسازي‌هاي متعددي در راه تبيين نظم آيندة جهان و تشريح نظام بين‌الملل شد كه در اين ميان نظام چند قطبي از احتمال بيشتري برخوردار است.در اين نظام، بازيگران مختلفي مي توانند بنا به ظرفيتهاي خود به ايفاء نقش بپردازند و سهمي را در رهبري جهان بر عهده بگيرند. سوال اصلي آن است كه جمهوري اسلامي بر اي ايفاء نقش موثر در نظام چند قطبي ازچه فرصتهايي برخوردار است و با چه چالشهايي روبرو مي باشد؟ ايران از يك طرف به خاطر دارابودن مؤلفه‌هاي جمعيت، منابع طبيعي ، ايدئولوژي، موقعيت استراتژيك و نظامي، گسترده سرزميني، ژئوپليتيك، فرهنگ و ... از توانايي مهمي براي ايفاي نقش در نظام بين‌الملل آينده برخوردار است و از طرف ديگر داراي چالشهاي مختلفي است.اين چالشها در سه سطح داخلي، منطقه اي و بين المللي قابل پي جويي است. مصرف گرايي فزاينده و نااميدي در حوزه فرهنگي، تورم، بيكاري، رشد آهسته اقتصادي در حوزه اقتصاد از مهمترين چالشهاي داخلي است.حضور ناتو در اطراف ايران، مساله جزاير سه گانه و داعش در حوزه منطقه اي و تحريمها واتهام نقض حقوق بشر در عرصه بين المللي از جمله اين چالشهاست. بر اين سناريوهاي پيش روي نظام جمهوري اسلامي تبيين مي گردد. در اين تحقيق راهبرد پژوهش كيفي است و روش پژوهش تحليلي مي باشد و شيوه گردآوري داده‌ها مبتني بر منابع كتابخانه‌اي و اينترنتي است.

After the Cold War and the collapse of the bipolar system, a new international system was met a kind of ambiguity in order to explain the new order .This ambiguity creates numerous Scenarios in order to explain the world and outlines the future of the international system among the more likely multi-polar system. In this system, different actors can play a role, according to their capacity and take part in the global leader. The main question is that what are the challenges and opportunities that the Islamic Republic of Iran has in order to play a role in the multipolar system? Iran on the one hand, for having the components of population, natural resources, ideology, military and strategic location, extensive land, geopolitics, culture and etc has the ability to play an important role in the international system's future and on the other hand has different challenges. These challenges would be checked at three levels: local, regional and international . The growing consumerism and despair in the cultural sphere, inflation, unemployment, slow economic growth in the economy are the most important internal challenges.Some of these challenges are included: NATO's presence around Iran, the issue of the three islands and Isis in the field of regional and international sanctions to human rights violations. So, it would be explain the scenarios facing the Islamic Republic. This research is qualitative research and its method is analytical research and data collection is based on library resources and the Internet.
