A refutation of the book “Oh the expected one, When will you shine your light?”

اين مقاله نقدي است مستند بر كتاب متي يشرق نورك ايها المنتظر، اثر عثمان خميس، كه حاوي شبهاتي چند درباره امام مهدي(ع) است. وي در كتاب خود كوشيده است اعتقاد به امام مهديQ را كه اصلي مشترك بين دو مكتب اهل‌ سنت و شيعه محسوب مي‌شود نقطه اختلاف تلقي كند. لذا واقعياتي را كه در منابع اهل سنت وجود دارد ناديده مي‌گيرد و آنها را به روايات شيعه نسبت مي‌دهد. ما به برخي از نمونه‌هاي آن در اين مقاله اشاره مي‌كنيم. همچنين، مي‌كوشيم با ذكر نمونه‌ها نگاهي به برخي شيوه‌هاي ناصواب عثمان خميس در كتابش داشته باشيم، از جمله: تحريف حقايق، مطرح‌كردن مفاد اخبار ضعيف به عنوان معتقد شيعه، سرپوش‌گذاشتن بر اشكالات روايات اهل سنت.

This writing is a critique of the book “Oh the expected one, When will you shine your light?” compiled by Othman Al-Khamis which contains several doubts casted on the Imam Mahdi (A.S). The writer of this book has tried hard to define the belief in Imam Mahdi, which is one of the common beliefs of both Shiite and Sunnis, as conflicting point among Muslims. In doing so, he has neglected the facts regarding Mahdism that exist in Sunni sources and ascribed them to Shiite. In the present writing we have brought some of its examples. We have tried to examine some of the inaccurate methods adopted by Osman Al-Khamis such as, distortion of facts, ascribing defective narrations as the Shiite beliefs, concealing the flaws existing in Sunni narrations.
