A model for ranking universities and higher education centers

زمينه و هدف:در چند دهه اخير دانشگاه ها سرمايه گذاري بيشتري روي گردآوري و بازتوليد دانش انجام داده اند رقابت بر سر دستيابي به چنين شرايطي، نظامهاي جديدي از رتبه بندي و ارزيابي دانشگاه ها را ايجاد كرده است. هدف اصلي اين تحقيق ارائه مدل مناسبي جهت رتبه بندي دانشگاه ها و مراكز آموزش عالي در سطح كشور است. روش بررسي: در اين تحقيق ابتدا نتايج حاصل از بررسي هاي مباني نظري مورد تحليل قرار گرفت (مرور اسنادي) و سپس داده هاي حاصل از مصاحبه هاي نيمه ساختاريافته از طريق روش تحليل تم بررسي شد. كدگذاري روابط نهفته بين مفاهيم از طريق مراجعه مجدد به متن مصاحبه و بازبيني كدها انجام شده و در نهايت مولفه هاي نهايي استخراج شد. در انتهاي اين مرحله مولفه هاي انتخابي با مدل بدست آمده از چارچوب نظري و پيشينه مطابقت داده شده و در نهايت مولفه‌هاي نهايي رتبه بندي دانشگاه ها و مراكز آموزش عالي بدست آمد يافته ها: شاخص هاي بدست آمده در اين تحقيق براي رتبه بندي دانشگاه ها و مراكز آموزش عالي شامل موارد زير بود: كاركرد آموزشي، كاركرد پژوهشي، بزرگي دانشگاه، اشتغالزايي و كارافريني و رتبه علمي و وجهه علمي وبين المللي نتيجه گيري: تحليل نتايج نشان داد كه شاخص هاي در نظر گرفته شده در مدل پيشنهادي براي رتبه بندي دانشگاه ها با داده هاي تجربي مناسبت داشته و از شرايط مطلوبي برخوردار است.

Background and objective: In recent decades, universities have been investing more in collecting and reproducing knowledge. Competition for achieving such a situation has created new systems for ranking and evaluating universities. The main purpose of this research is to provide a good model for ranking universities and higher education institutions throughout the country. Methods and Materials: In this research, the results of theoretical research were first analyzed and then the data from semi-structured interviews were analyzed through the method of analysis. The encoding of strong relationships between concepts was accomplished by revising the text of the interview and reviewing the code, and ultimately the final components were extracted. At the end of this stage, the selected components were matched according to the model obtained from the theoretical framework and the background and, finally, the final values ​​of ranking of universities and higher education centers were obtained. Results: The indexes obtained in this research for the ranking of universities and higher education institutions included: educational function, research performance, university magnitude, job creation and entrepreneurship, and academic rank and scientific and international reputation Conclusion: Based on the results, the calculated fit of the proposed model for ranking universities is suitable with experimental data and has favorable conditions.
