Refunctioning Solutions For Different Wind Catchers Of Yazd Based On Their Related Summer Side Spaces

يزد، يكي از شهرهاي كويري است كه در منطقه اقليمي گرم و خشك ايران قرار گرفته و از ديرباز، معماران اين ديار، از روش‌هاي مختلف براي همسازي با اين شرايط نامساعد بهره جسته‌اند و يكي از اين ابداعات، استفاده از بادگير بود. با گذشت زمان، شيوه‌هاي زندگي نيز دستخوش تغيير شده‌اند و مردم به تدريج از بافت سنّتي به بخش جديد شهر مهاجرت نموده‌اند. افرادي كه مجبور به ماندن هستند، محيط زندگي خود را بر اساس شيوه‌هاي زندگي مدرن تغيير داده‌اند. بادگير كه جزء جدايي ناپذير خانه‌هاي سنتي يزد بوده است، به تدريج عملكرد خود را از دست داده و امروزه تنها به عنوان يك نماد يا عنصر تزييني از آن استفاده مي‌شود .بخش تابستان‌نشين خانه‌ها كه در ارتباط با بادگير بوده‌اند، نيز كاركرد خود را از دست داده و عملاَ تبديل به انباري شده‌اند.اين امر، به دليل ترويج استفاده ارزان و آسان از انرژي كولرهاي آبي است كه جايگزين استفاده از سرمايش طبيعي بادگيرها شده‌ است. اين مقاله با هدف بازكارآيي نقش بادگيرها و عملاً بخش تابستان نشين و در تداوم تحقيقات پيشين، با دسته بندي انواع بادگيرها در يزد، رابطه نقش تهويه و خنك‌كنندگي با فضاهاي بخش تابستان‌نشين را بررسي و راهكارهاي معمارانه و فني اصلح در بهينه‌سازي نقش بادگير را ارائه مي‌دهد. معيار دسته‌بندي، نوع رابطه بادگيرها با فضاي تابستان‌نشين است كه اين رابطه به سه دسته تقسيم‌بندي شد: 1- بادگيرهايي كه با فضاي بسته، مانند حوضخانه، رابطه برقرار مي‌كنند. 2- بادگيرهايي كه با فضاي نيم باز، مانند تالار، ارتباط برقرار مي‌كنند. 3- بادگيرهايي كه هم با فضاي بسته و هم نيم باز، رابطه برقرار مي‌كنند. بنابراين، پس از معرفي بادگير دانشكده هنر و معماري دانشگاه يزد (خانه رسوليان) و اصلاحات انجام شده، دو خانه مرتاض و كرماني كه معرف تيپ‌هاي ديگر رابطه بادگير با فضاهاي معماري هستند، معرفي و راهكارهاي بازكارآيي آنها ارائه شد. روش تحقيق بر اساس مطالعات ميداني از نمونه‌هاي ذكر شده بود و همچنين، با توجّه به بازكارآيي بخشي از بادگير خانه رسوليان از تجربيات مربوط به اصلاح آن نيز استفاده گرديد

"Yazd" is well known as city of "Baud -Geers" (Wind catcher or wind towers). Baud “ Geers have become part of the identity of "Yazd", an exemplar of a desert city in coping with natural forces for many centuries. During the past decades, the living patterns of the traditional people have changed. People have been leaving the old city fabric to move to newly developed sections and the families that have chosen to live in the traditional houses , have mostly been forced or chosen to follow the modern ways of living to have a more comfortable environment. Traditional ways of living in traditional courtyard house has not fulfilled the need of today's families and summer section of the houses has not been used or has been used differently than before. Relatively cheap and mechanically logical water coolers have replaced the use of the Baud “ Geers, so, these magnificent elements of traditional Iranian architecture are exposed to wear and probable destruction. There are many different types of the ways that"Baud-Geers" function and relate to the summer side of the traditional houses and understanding different typologies of the "Baud-Geers" will help the ways to preserve them. This paper presents the results of the study on Yazd traditional "Baud-Geers" to understand different typologies and how they function as a passive cooling element during hot and dry months of the year. The results of the study showed at least three different types that "Baud-Geer" relates to its surrounding spaces. In order to bring back the Baud-Geers" back to life and make them work again; different strategies are given to make the summer side of the traditional houses become functional again. After explaining the design, construction and climatic characteristics of the case studies, the selected design strategies and their components will be presented and finally some guides for action will conclude the paper.
