رمان تاريخي عذراء قريش اثر جرجي زيدان، الگوي حقانيت امام علي (ع)

The Novel,Azra’ Quraish (Virgin of Quraish), Georgie Zaydan, Imam Ali’s Proof of Legitimacy

نگارنده در نوشتار پيش رو بر آن است كه قضاياي دورة خليفة سوم و بعد از آن خلافت امام علي (ع) و مسائل مربوط به آن را از منظر رمان تاريخي برجستة عذراء قريش نوشتة جرجي زيدان، نويسندة معاصر مسيحي لبناني، بررسي كند. آن‌چه از تورّق و جست‌وجوي اين داستان به دست مي‌آيد اين است كه امام علي (ع) شخصيت منحصر به فردي است كه علاوه بر جاي‌گاه ويژه‌اش در بين مذاهب مختلف اسلامي، در بين پيروان اديان ديگر نيز جاي‌گاه والايي دارد. نويسندة داستان مذكور با سه رويكرد عمومي نقش مروان بن حكم در حوادث دورة خليفة سوم، ماجراي قتل عثمان و خلافت امام علي (ع)، و حوادث بعد از آن اين رمان را نوشته است. بنابراين، در گفتار حاضر با محور قرار دادن اين سه رويكرد حوادث از زبان شخصيت اصلي آن (اسماء) بررسي شده است.

The present article strives to research the events proceeding the Third Khalifah’s rule and afterwards Imam Ali’s ascent to the throne from the point of view of the novel “Azra’ Quraish” by world renowned, contemporary writer, GeorgieZaydan, who is Christian Lebanese. The result of much exploration in this tale is believed to be that, Imam Ali is a truly exceptional individual, who, in addition to his extraordinary position for several Islamic sects, is held in greatveneration by the followers of other religions. The author of the novel casts the story based on three general views: the role of Marwan Bin Hakam in the events of the Third Khalifah’ rule, the murder of Othman, and the ascending of Imam Ali to the position of Khalifah and proceeding events. Therefore, the author of present article attempts to analyze the aforementioned events based on the narration of the novel’s main character “Asma”.
