Role of the Referees Judgment on Performance of the Host Countries in the Asian Games

هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسي نقش قضاوت داوران بر عملكرد كشورهاي ميزبان در بازي‌هاي آسيايي بود. جامعة آماري پژوهش متشكل از 44 رشتة ورزشي مدال‌آور كشورهاي ميزبان بازي‌هاي آسيايي در دورة ميزباني آن‌ها بود كه به‌عنوان نمونةپژوهش، 28 رشتة ورزشي داراي قضاوت عمدتاً عيني و عمدتاً ذهني به‌صورت هدفمند انتخاب شدند. اطلاعات موردنياز ازطريق كتاب‌ها، مقالات، پايان‌نامه‌ها و سايت‌هاي مرتبط با بازي‌هاي آسيايي جمع‌آوري شد و درستي اطلاعات به‌ تأييد چند منبع رسيد. براي دست‌يابي به اهداف پژوهش، مجموع مدال‌هاي كسب‌شده (يا مدال طلاي كسب‌شده) توسط ميزبان، با مجموع مدال‌هاي كسب‌شده (يا مدال طلاي كسب‌شده) توسط كشور مربوطه در دوره‌هاي قبل و بعد از دورة ميزباني مقايسه شد. براي تجزيه‌وتحليل داده‌ها از روش‌هاي آمار توصيفي و استنباطي ازجمله كلوموگروف- اسميرنوف و ويلكاكسون با استفاده از نرم‌افزار اس.پي.اس.اس استفاده شد. يافته‌ها نشان داد كه بين مجموع مدال‌ها و تعداد مدال طلاي كسب‌شده در رشته‌هاي عمدتاً با قضاوت عيني و عمدتاً با قضاوت ذهني در شرايط ميزباني در مقايسه با شرايط غيرميزباني تفاوت معناداري وجود داشت. همچنين، اختلاف تعداد مدال كسب‌شده در دورة ميزباني نسبت به دورة غيرميزباني در رشته‌هاي عمدتاً با قضاوت ذهني، بيشتر از رشته‌هاي عمدتاً با قضاوت عيني بود.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate role of the Referees judgment on performance of the host countries in the Asian Games. Population of the study was 44 medalist sport disciplines of host countries of the Asian Games in their hosting period which 28 sport disciplines in 2 categories of predominantly subjectively judged and predominantly objectively judged has been selected by judgment sampling as research sample. The required data has been collected through books, articles, theses and related sites to the Asian Games and the accuracy of the data was confirmed by several sources. To achieve the research objectives, the obtained total medals (or gold medals) by the host country has been compared with obtained total medals (or gold medals) by the relevant country in the periods after or before their hosting. To analyze the data, was used descriptive and inferential statistics such as Smirnov– Kolmogorov and Wilcoxon tests by SPSS18 software. The results showed that there is a great difference between obtained total medals and the number of gold medals in sport disciplines with predominantly subjectively judged and predominantly objectively judged in hosting condition with non-hosting period. Also, difference of the obtained total medals in host period than non-host period in sport disciplines with predominantly subjectively judged is higher than sport disciplines with predominantly objectively judged.
