خرده ‌فرهنگ فقر و آسيب‌هاي اجتماعي در محلات شهري (مطالعة موردي محلة هرندي)

The Subculture of Poverty and Social Pathologies in Urban Neighborhoods (A Case Study of Darvazeh Ghar)

مطالعة حاضر به بررسي خرده‌ فرهنگ فقر و آسيب‌هاي اجتماعي در محلة هرندي (دروازه‌غار سابق) تهران و در بين گروه‌هاي موسوم به «غربتي» مي‌‌پردازد. داده‌هاي اين تحقيق از طريق روش تحقيق كيفي و با استفاده از تكنيك‌هاي مصاحبه و مشاهده گردآوري شده است. حجم نمونه 40 نفر و تعداد اين حجم با رسيدن به اشباع نظري پايان يافت. يافته‌هاي تحقيق نشان مي‌‌دهد كه غربتي‌ها «خرده‌ فرهنگ فقر» خاصي دارند كه زمينه را براي انواع مسائل و آسيب‌هاي اجتماعي فراهم كرده است. علاوه بر اين، يافته‌ها گوياي آن است كه عناصر خرده‌ فرهنگ غربتي‌ها مواردي همچون فقر و ارزشمندي فقر، هيجان‌خواهي و لذت‌جويي، بي‌توجهي به قانون، اين‌جا و اكنون بودن و عدم تمايل به آينده‌نگري، مشاركت پايين اجتماعي و عدم تعلق روحية شهروندي را شامل مي‌‌شود. همچنين اين خرده‌ فرهنگ فقر با شكل‌گيري انواع آسيب‌هاي اجتماعي در بين افراد غربتي نظير اعتياد، خشونت، قماربازي و خريد و فروش مواد ارتباط دارد.

The present article aims to study the subculture of poverty among “gypsies” in Harandi Neighborhood (formerly known as Darvazeh Ghar) in Tehran. The research method is qualitative and the data was gathered using observation and interview techniques. The sample size was 40 people, and it was completed when the theoretical saturation was achieved. The results of this study show that the gypsies have a special poverty subculture that paves the way for different kinds of social issues and pathologies. Also the findings show that the subculture of the gypsies include elements such as poverty, valuing poverty, seeking adventure and excitement, hedonism, violating the law, being here and now, unwillingness to care about future, low social participation and lacking any feeling of belonging to the urban environment. Also the subculture of poverty is closely related to the formation of different social pathologies, such as addiction, violence, gambling and drug dealing.
