بازانديشي در معناي فرزند و دلالتهاي آن در زندگي: رهيافت كيفي در زنان متاهل بي‌فرزند ساكن شهر تهران

Rethinking the Meaning & Implications of Child in Life; A Qualitative Approach among Voluntary Childless Married Women in Tehran

تحقيق حاضر، با هدف واكاوي معناي فرزند و نقش آن در فرزندآوري از ديدگاه زنان بي‌فرزند ساكن شهر تهران انجام شد. با استفاده از روش كيفي با رويكرد تفسيري بنيادي، 18 مصاحبه عميق با زنان بدون فرزندي كه حداقل 5 سال از ازدواج آن‌ها گذشته و به‌طور ارادي بارور نشده‌اند، انجام شد. اين زنان به روش هدفمند در تابستان 1396 نمونه‌گيري شده و داده‌هاي كيفي با استفاده از تحليل محتوايي موضوعي با رويكرد استقرايي تحليل شدند. مقوله اصلي عبارت است از: فرزندتلفيقي از تمايل غريزي و ذاتي به‌همراه نگراني و ابهام است كه با رشد عقلانيت در فرزند‌آوري ارادي و برنامه‌ريزي شده، بازانديشي در نقش فرزند بر كيفيت رابطه زناشويي و حمايت سالمندي همراه بوده و مفهومي ديناميك بوده كه با گذر زمان (چه در گذر نسلي، چه در دوره زندگي)، متحول مي‌شود. علي‌رغم ارزش ذاتي فرزند، به علت رشد عقلانيت، زنان به‌دنبال شرايطي هستند كه تصميم فرزند‌آوري را با كنترل شرايط اتخاذ كرده، قبل از فرزندآوري از كيفيت رابطه زناشويي اطمينان حاصل كرده و با داشتن سالمندي فعال و سالم، به‌دنبال تعديل انتظارات خود از فرزند در سالمندي هستند. اين معاني براي فرزند و كاركردهاي آن در زندگي در تفسير تغييرات رفتار فرزندآوري نسل‌هاي حاضر كاربرد خواهد داشت

The present research, aimed to explore the meaning of child and its role in childbearing in the perspective of childless married women. Using a qualitative method with Basic Interpretive approach, 18 in-depth interviews were conducted with women who were married within last 5 years and were voluntarily childless. These women were selected using purposive sampling method in the summer of 2017 and thematic content analysis with inductive approach was conducted. The main theme emerged was: “Child meaning is an integration of an intrinsic and internal desire with ambiguity and concerns ,which coincide with increased rationality on voluntary & planned childbearing, changes in child’s role in the quality of marital relations and elderly support. It is a dynamic notion and it evolves by time transition (both in the life course, and cohort transition)”. Despite intrinsic value of child, due to increased rationalization, women are looking to find circumstances that decide on child bearing upon control of all conditions, to ensure of marital quality before childbearing and looking to mediate their expectations from their child in elderly by having an active and healthy elderly. This meaning of child and it’s implication in life needs to be considered in the interpretation of changes of childbearing behavior in recent generations.
