Irrigation System and Agriculture-Related Expressions of Barzok

منطقۀ كوهستاني برزك در دامنۀ سلسله‌جبال مركزي «كركس»، با داشتن 30 مزرعۀ كوچك و بزرگ يكي از حوزه‌هاي بزرگ آبخيز و چشمه‌هاي متعدد و قنات‌هاست كه براساس اسناد و قباله‌ها و آب‌نشان‌هاي قديمي، نظام آب و آبياري و مالكيت آب در آن، در درجه‌اول اهميت بوده است. براي روشن شدن اهميت اين موضوع در اين نوشتار، به جوانب مختلف نظام آبياري و نام‌ها و اصطلاحات رايج در منطقۀ برزك بپردازيم. مبناي كار و مراجع تحقيق در اين مقاله، آب‌نشان‌ها و اسناد قديمي و صورت‌هاي تنظيمي ادارۀ ثبت اسناد و رسوم متداول در ميان مالكان و كشاورزان و اطلاعات شخصي نگارنده است. چشمه‌ها و قنات‌هاي برزك، روزقه‌هاي برزك، متوليان و كارگزاران آب، فرهنگ وارۀ اصطلاحات رايج آب و آبياري در برزك، از موضوعات موردبحث در اين مقاله است.

Barzok mountainous district, located in the hillside of Karkas central mountain chain, is one of the catchment areas which has 30 large and small farms as well as numerous springs and Qanats; wherein the irrigation system and water rights had been primarily important according to the historical documents and watermarks. To highlight the importance of this issue, the present study was designed to review the various aspects of irrigation system, names and common expressions in the Barzok distric. The study has been carried out referring to the historical watermarks, documents and statements prepared by the Organization for Registration of Deeds and Properties as well as reviewing the traditions prevalent among the owners and farmers and personal information of the author. This paper discusses various issues including the springs and Qanats of Barzok, Rowzeqe (water rights) in Barzok, water brokers as well as glossary of common irrigation-related expressions in Barzok
