چكيده فارسي :
موضوع مقاله‌ي حاضر بررسي «سخن» در شاهنامه‌ي فردوسي است. به كارگيري واژه‌ي سخن در مفاهيم مختلف و با بسامدي بالا، يادآور اهميّت «گفتن» به مثابه يكي از اضلاع مثلث «پندار نيك، گفتار نيك و كردار نيك» در شاهنامه است. زيرا فردوسي كاخ بلند نظم خويش را بر شالوده‌ي اين مثلث بنياد نهاد تا تصويري روشن از زندگي شايسته و بايسته‌ي آدمي، در سايه اين سه مقوله‌ي بنيادين زندگي،تصوير نمايد. فردوسي بيش از دو هزار بار از واژه‌ي سخن به صورت‌هاي بسيط، مشتق و مركب، در معاني حقيقي و مجازي و همراه با ملايمات و ملازمات آن، در جاي جاي شاهنامه، استفاده كرده است. نگارنده كوشيده است، پس از بررسي تمامي موارد استعمال آن، نگاه فردوسي را به اين «دال» كه فصل مميّز انسان از حيوان است، با تحليل و توصيف مدلول‌هايش، نشان دهد تا تبيين جايگاه آن، در انديشه‌ي پر دامنه‌ي و جهان بيني حكيم توس، امكان‌پذير گردد.
اگر چه پژوهش‌هايي مشابه مي‌تواند نقش و جايگاه هر واژه را در ساختار اثر سترگ اين حكيم فرزانه نشان دهد، بي گمان واژه‌ي سخن براي بررسي‌هايي از اين دست اهميت بيش‌تري دارد.زيرا سخن نه تنها يگانه ابزار بيان اواست؛ بلكه با تمام شئون و مراتب آگاهي و خرد و دانش و بينش او پيوندي ناگسستني دارد.گذشته از اين بررسي «سخن» در كلام فردوسي نحوه‌ي كاربرد اين واژه‌ي كليدي را آشكار مي‌سازد و بدين ترتيب اولاً افق فكري فردوسي را به نمايش مي‌گذارد و ثانياً نشان مي‌دهد كه چه‌گونه شخصيت‌هاي شاهنامه، با سخن گفتن، پرده از رازهاي درون خويش برمي‌گيرند و در نزد مخاطب محبوب يا مطرود مي‌شوند.
چكيده لاتين :
This article studies “diction” in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. Diction has different meanings and is so frequently used that amounts to the signification of “speech” as one of the bases of “thinking good thoughts, saying good words, and doing good deeds” in Shahnameh. Ferdowsi based his versification of Shahnameh on this so-called triangle to depict a clear picture of man’s life as he deserves it, i.e. a worthy life founded on this triangle.
In his Shahnameh, Ferdowsi has used the term “diction” more than two thousand times, either as a single, derivative or compound word, in its literal and metaphorical senses. Then the researcher has tried to scan and study the term in all its form as used by Ferdowsi in order to discover his viewpoint of this signifier – as the sole distinction of human and animals – and its relation to the signified. Although parallel researches can reveal the significance and function of every single word in the structure of this masterpiece of Ferdowsi, the word “diction” undoubtedly matters more, for it is his only means both to narrate his Shahnameh and to express his knowledge and wisdom and his understanding and judgment. Moreover, studying “diction” in Shahnameh brings out Ferdowsi’s adroit use of the term and lets us know not only how he thought about the world but how the characters of his narratives uncover their true selves through speaking.
