چكيده لاتين :
Management and development of ground water resources in arid and semi arid regions is an important task faced by water resources planner. The development of mathematical models provide groundwater planners with quantitative techniques to evaluate groundwater resources and to indentify the probable environmental impacts associated with waste disposal parctices. in the present study, to investigate solute transport in groundwater aquifers, the general unsteady equation of fluid movement through porous media was solved using a three-dimensional numerical control volume method, and the Three Diagonal Matrix Algorithm (TDMA). This process was mathematically modeled, while the concentration of solute was taken as the investigating property of fluid (water), which moves through porous media (soil). Results of the model were compared with the analytical models results in both horizontal and vertical directions, which are in good agreement. This model has the ability to predict the solute transport in groundwater aquifers to control the contaminant crises in water resources storage.As the pH of medium increases the ion gets activated and thus the electrostatic attraction between Cu+2 and functional groups on humic acid as well as retention time increases. At this state, the distribution coefficients get their limits and the slope of the curve Log P=f(pH). On ploting the line Log P=f(pH) for an initial concentration of Cu^+2 (Co=0.125* 10^-3 eq/kg) the cationic exchange constant (keX) is 0.71 and for every metallic ion a hydrogen ion exchanges. Relative error and CV were found -0.77% and 2.27% respectively.
