رسالت‌شناسي الياس در اديان ابراهيمي

الياس نبي از شخصيت‌هاي مشترك اديان ابراهيمي و يادشده در قرآن و كتاب مقدس است. تصوير رسالت او در اين كتب، بيانگر چيرگي او بر فضاي فرهنگي معاصرش، و نيز ترسيم الگويي علمي و عملي در تحقق رسالت ديني است. با اتخاذ نگرشي روشمند به جايگاه كتاب مقدس در تفسير قرآن، مي‌توان گفت دست‌كم بخش‌هايي از اين سه كتاب مي‌توانند در فهم متن ياري كنند. رهيافت «بينامتنيت» در موضوع الياس، ما را به فهم بهتري از آيات قرآني نزديك مي‌كند. كيفيت مبارزه با بعل‌پرستي، بنيان‌گذاري روش مباهله، پرورش مخلَصيني چون اليشعِ جانشين، ميزباني مادر يونس و معجزه احياي يونس، گوشه‌هايي از اين رهيافت است. رسالت الياس نبيj در يهوديت و مسيحيت، محدود به زمان حيات او نيست و پس ‌از صعود، به‌ويژه در حوزه‌هاي عرفاني، برخي آيين‌ها و نيز در رخداد بازگشت مسيحا تداوم يافته است. در اسلام نيز اشارات اندكي به رسالت غيبيِ وي ديده مي‌شود.

Elijah the Prophet is one of the common figures of Abrahamic religions mentioned in the Quran and Bible. The description of his mission in the scriptures shows his mastery of contemporary cultural atmosphere at that period, and designates a scientific and practical model of a religious missionary. By taking a systematic approach to status of Bible in interpretation of the Quran, it can be suggested that at least some parts of these two books together are capable of intertextual echoes. Intertextual approach in the case of Elijah, will lead us to a better understanding of the Qur'anic verses. How to fight against idolatry, establishment of cursing method (Mubahalah), training Elisha as substitute of Elijah, hosting mother of Jonah and the miracle of the resuscitation of Jonah, are samples of this approach. The mission of the prophet Elijah in Judaism and Christianity is not bounded to his lifetime and has extended after the ascension, especially in the areas of mystical, some rituals and also in the event of the return of the Messiah.
