نقدي بر نظرات فايرستون در مقالۀ «تناقض در آموزه‌هاي قرآني جنگ و راهكارهاي حلّ آن»

The Criticizing Firestone’s Opinions in the Article “Disparity and Resolution in the Qurʾānic Teachings on War”

فايرستون اعا مي‌كند كه آيات جهاد تناقض دارند؛ زيرا روش‌هاي مختلفي را پيشنهاد كرده‌اند. او با تكيه بر «نظريۀ تكاملي تدريجي جنگ» كه خود از منظر عالمان مسلمان ترسيم كرده، بر اين باور است كه به رغم استفادۀ آنان از روايات اسباب نزول و نسخ، اين روايات به علت ناسازگاري، امكان بازسازي ترتيب زماني آيات را ندارند و در اثر تناقض بين آيات، دو گروه صلح‌طلب و جنگ‌طلب با تمسك به يك دسته آيات در جامعۀ نبوي به وجود آمدند. اين مقاله با روش توصيفي ـ تحليلي و تكيه بر سياق و تاريخ سامان يافته و اين نتايج به دست آمده است: با اعتقاد به نظريۀ سير تكامليِ آيات جهاد و نيز بدون اعتقاد بدان، آيات جهاد با يكديگر تنها تعارض ظاهري دارند كه از طريق جمع عرفي قابل حل است و نيز مستند گروه‌ها آيات نبوده و عدم اتفاق‌نظر مفسران در تفسير آيات، دليلي بر اثبات تناقض در آن‌ها نخواهد بود

Firestone asserts that the verses of Jihad (a holy war or fighting or warring in the path of God) appear to contradict one another because they have presented different methods. With relying on “evolutionary theory of warring in the Qurʾān” which Firestone has determined from the point of Muslim’s scholars, he believes that in spite of their usage of the Islamic traditions of Asbāb al-nuzūl (occasions or circumstances of revelation) and naskh (abrogation), it is impossible for these traditions because of contradiction to reconstruct tartib al-nuzul (the chronological order of the verses of the Qur’an) and for the contradiction between the Quran verses, two groups “peacemakers and warmongers” with observing some verses in the Nabawi’ (prophetic) community have been formed (established). This research with the descriptive-analytic method and with being depend on Siaq (context) and history has been conducted and has led to these findings: whether believing in the evolutionary theory of the verses of jihad or disbelieving, the contradiction of the verses of jihad is in appearance which it can be solved by the convention conciliation (al-jam al-urfi) and the Quran verses are not the groups’ proofs. The disagreement between the exegetes about the exegesis of the verses does not indicate the contradiction between the verses.
