The Effectiveness of Mental Immunization Program on General Health and Aggression in Mothers of Children with Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder

اين پژوهش با هدف بررسي اثربخشي برنامه ايمن سازي رواني بر سلامت عمومي و پرخاشگري مادران كودكان مبتلا اختلال به نقص توجه بيش فعالي انجام شده است. پژوهش حاضر، يك مطالعه شبه آزمايشي با طرح پيش آزمون- پس آزمون و گروه كنترل بود. جامعه آماري اين پژوهش را مادران كودكان مبتلا به نقص توجه بيش فعالي تشكيل دادند. براي انتخاب آزمودني ها از روش نمونه گيري در دسترس استفاده شد، به طوري كه در اين پژوهش 32 نفر از مادران كودكان مبتلا به نقص توجه بيش فعالي شركت داشتند. آزمودني ها به صورت تصادفي به دو گروه 16 نفري تقسيم شدند (يك گروه آزمايش و يك گروه كنترل). گروه آزمايشي، برنامه ايمن سازي رواني را در ده جلسه دريافت كردند درحالي كه به گروه كنترل اين آموزش ارائه نشد. ابزار استفاده شده در اين پژوهش پرسشنامه سلامت عمومي و پرسشنامه پرخاشگري بود. اطلاعات جمع آوري شده با استفاده از تحليل كوواريانس چندمتغيري تحليل شد. نتايج نشان داد كه بعد از مداخله، ميانگين نمرات سلامت عمومي و پرخاشگري گروه آزمايش به طور معناداري كمتر از گروه كنترل بود در حقيقت، سلامت عمومي گروه آزمايش افزايش و ميزان پرخاشگري آن ها كاهش يافت.

Aim: The purpose of the present research was to investigation of the effectiveness of mental immunization program on general health and aggression in mothers of children with attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder. Methods: The present research a quasi-experimental study by pre-test, post-test design with control group. The study population included of mothers of children with attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder. Subjects were selected by convenient sampling method. In this study were participated 32 mothers of children with attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder. Subjects were divided into two groups by randomly (experimental and control group), each of which was consisted of 16 individuals. Experimental group received mental immunization program in 10 sessions while control group did not. The instrument of present research was general health questionnaire (GHQ-28) and aggression ‌questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by using multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA). Results: The findings of this research showed that there was significant decrease in general health and aggression scores mean of experimental group in the post intervention in comparison with control group (P<0.001). Indeed, general health of experimental group increased and their aggression decreased. Conclusion: The mental immunization program instructional led to improve the general health and aggression in mothers of children with attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder. Therefore, planning for providing of mental immunization program is a particular importance.
