چكيده فارسي :
ايكات نوعي تكنيك و پارچه اي است كه نقوش آن با گره زدن و بستن بخش هايي از تار و يا پود و باز كردن آن ها پس از رنگرزي ايجاد مي شود. امروزه ساخت ايكات در هند شايد به رونق گذشته نباشد، ولي كاربرد، طرح، رنگ، تفاوت ها، جنس، چگونگي، مراكز تهيّه و عوامل آفرينش و باورهاي نهفته در اين پارچه هاي زيبا از موارديست كه همواره به ذهن خطور مي كند.روش اين تحقيق توصيفي و تحليلي است. شيوه ي جمع‌آوري اطّلاعات بر اساس مطالعات كتابخانه اي و پژوهش هاي ميداني و ابزار گردآوري داده‌ها شامل مقاله، كتاب، پايان نامه، كتب الكترونيكي و عكس است. با توجّه به فرضيّه ي وجود ارتباط ميان انواع ايكات با كاربرد تزيين و پوشش، هم چنين تكنيك، تشابه و تفاوت جزئي آن ها به خاطر محلّ توليد و افكار بافندگان كه باعث اثرپذيري مناطق از يكديگر است، هدف مقاله نظام دهي و بررسي دقيق انواع ايكات هندي براي حصول نتايج جامع كاربردي، شناخت پارچه ها و حفظ تكنيك هاست. بنابراين به اين نتيجه مي رسيم كه پارچه هاي هند با وجود تشابه، تكنيك خاصّ ايجاد نقش دارند، مثلاً بانداسِ اوريسّا با روش گره زني منقوش مي گردد. برخي انواع ديگر نيز از لحاظ طرح، رنگ و نوع نخ شباهت دارند كه كاربرد نخ زر در بانداس يا گول بَدَن از آن جمله است. اين پارچه ها معمولاً براي تهيه ي ساري به كار مي روند كه در مراسم نيايش استفاده شده و نقش مايه هاي ساده اي دارند كه حاصل در هم رفتن رنگ هاست

Ikat is a kind of technique and a textile that its motifs are created by tying and dying some parts of warp and weft. Producing Ikats in India perhaps is not as prevalent as before, but pattern, color, material, differences, producing method, producing centers and hidden beliefs in these elegant textiles are of the points which always come to mind. The method of this survey is descriptive- analytic, the data collected using library resources and fieldwork research and the tools of gathering information include papers, books, theses, E-books and images.
According to the hypothesis that there is a connection between the kinds of Ikat and the use of decoration and clothing, also their technique and slight similarity and difference due to the place of production and the wavers' thoughts, which cause different regions to affect each other, the purpose of this study is to organize and consider different kinds of Indian Ikat precisely to get comprehensive practical results, recognize the textiles and keep the techniques. Thus, it is concluded that although the Indian textiles are similar, they have special methods of producing. For example using braid in Bandhas of Orissa or Gulbadan. These textiles are usually used in producing Sari that people wear in praise ceremonies and they have simple motifs which are achieved by pervaded colors.
