The Role of Word Selectivity in Geometrical Perfection of Contemporary Poetry

اساساً كشف ظرفيت هاي معنايي، موسيقايي و زيباشناختي كلمات و كاربرد هوشمندانه آنها در بافت نحوي كلام، معياري براي سنجش ميزان انتظام و انضباط ذهني شاعر است. در اين مقاله، به شيوه تحليلي- توصيفي و بر مبناي روش نقد فرماليستي، درباره نقش «به گزيني واژگان» در كمال بخشي به هندسه و هارمونيِ سروده هاي شاعران برجسته معاصر بحث و بررسي شده است. پژوهش حاضر حاوي اين دستاورد است كه مهم ترين كاركردهاي زيباشناختي به گزيني واژگان در شعر معاصران عبارتند از: فضاسازي، ايجاد هارموني و هندسه در بافت كلام، ايجاد تناسبات و تداعي هاي چندلايه لفظي و معنايي، و نقش القاگري. از اين رهگذر، به گزيني كلمات به استحكام ساخت و بافت دروني شعر مي انجامد و نظام هنري و هندسي شعر به كمال مي گرايد.

Discovering the meaning, musical and aesthetic capacity of the words and the smart use of them in the content of the text is a criterion to evaluate the poet’s mental discipline. In this article, using a descriptive – analytical method, and based on formalist criticism, the role of “word selectivity” in geometrical perfection and harmony of the poems of some of the most prominent modern poets has been studied. This research reveals that most important aesthetic functions of “word selectivity” of contemporary poetry are: spacing, creating harmony and geometry in verbal texture, creating multi-layered verbal and semantic harmonies and associations, and persuasiveness. Hereby, “word selectivity” leads to consistency in the internal structure and texture of the poem, and a perfection in the geometrical and artistic system of the poem.
