تأثير حكمت زرتشتي بر فلاسفۀ پيش سقراطيان و افلاطون

Impact of Zoroastrian Wisdom on Pre-Socratic Philosophers and Plato

شباهت هاي بسياري ميان انديشه‌هاي فلسفي حكماي پيش سقراطيان و تعاليم زرتشت كه از تقدم زماني برخوردارند، وجود دارد كه حاكي از آشنايي اين انديشه‌ها با آموزه‌هاي زرتشت بر اثر مراودت يونانيان با ملل شرقي بويژه ايرانيان است. پرسشي كه نوشتار حاضر در پي تبيين صحت و سقم آن است كه با روش تطبيقي مورد كاووش و بررسي قرار دهد، اين است كه آموزه‌هاي زرتشت چه تأثيري بر انديشه پيش سقراطيان داشته است؟ نتيجه پژوهش نشان مي دهد كه انديشمنداني همچون تالس، فيثاغورس، امپدوكلس و بويژه افلاطون ديدگاه هاي خود را با تأثيرپذيري از انديشه ايراني تدوين كرده‌اند؛ از جمله مفاهيمي چون مشاركت، ثنويت، پادشاه ـ فيلسوف نزد افلاطون و نيز انديشه‌هاي فيثاغورس دربارة روح و اعداد.

There are several similarities among the philosophical thoughts of pre-Socratic sages and the preceding Zoroaster’s teachings. Such similarities indicate the familiarity of Greek philosophers with Zoroaster’s teachings through their contacts with eastern nations, particularly Iranians. In this paper, following a comparative method, the author intends to provide an answer to the question of how Zoroaster’s teachings influenced pre-Socratic philosophies. The findings of this study demonstrate that some thinkers such as Thales, Pythagoras, Empedocles, and, particularly, Plato developed their views under the influence of Iranian philosophical thoughts. In this regard, reference can be made to some concepts including partnership, duality, Plato’s king-sage, and Pythagoras’ views regarding spirit and numbers.
