The Religious Ethics in Motahhari's Thought

ديدگاه اخلاقي آقاي مطهري حاصل تفسير خاصي است كه ايشان از متون ديني مرتبط با اخلاق دارد و نظريه بزرگواري روح را مي‌توان مفهوم محوري اين ديدگاه دانست. بر اساس اين تفسير توصيه‌هاي اخلاقي در آيات و احاديث نه با محوريت وعده بهشت يا وعيد دوزخ، بلكه بيش از هرچيز حول محور كرامت و عزت نفس شكل گرفته است. ايشان ميان بزرگي و بزرگواري روح تمايز قائل مي‌شود و دستيابي به هر يك را در گرو داشتن همت بلند، تلاش بسيار و تحمل سختي‌ها مي‌داند. روح‌هايي كه در مسيرهاي مختلف از قبيل علم‌خواهي، ثروت‌اندوزي و جاه‌طلبي، همت بلندي دارند و هرگز از كوشش باز نمي‌ايستند، روح‌هاي بزرگ‌اند و روح‌هايي كه اين همت بلند را در مسير فضائل اخلاقي دارند و روح خود را چنان بزرگ مي‌دارند كه از ايشان، جز كار نيك صادر نمي‌شود و بدي‌ها را موجب دنائت و پستي مي‌دانند، روح‌هاي بزرگوارند. از نظر ايشان همه فضائل اخلاقي مطرح در آيات واحاديث را مي‌توان به بزرگواري روح تحويل كرد و همه رذائل مطرح شده را مي‌توان به پستي و دنائت روح برگرداند. هدف دراين مقاله تأمل در فهم و تفسير ديني آقاي مطهري از اخلاق و تلاش در جهت ارائه تصويري نظام‌مند از آن است.

Motahhari's religious view is originated from his special interpretation of religious texts related to ethics and the theory of dignity of soul can be regarded as the central concept of this view. According to this interpretation the axis of ethical advises in Quran verses and hadiths is the dignity of soul more than promising paradise or hill. He distinguishes the greatness of soul from its dignity. He says that to achieve each one of them it is necessary to try hard and to suffer intensities. The great souls are those who have lofty aim and continued effort in the way of getting knowledge or welfare or ambition. an‎d the dignified souls are those who have the lofty aim in the realm of virtues and who dignify their souls to the extent that only the good acts are done by them and the bad acts are regarded as something produced by the lowness of soul. In his view, all virtues mentioned in Quran verses and hadiths can be reduced to the dignity of soul and all evils mentioned there can be reduced to the lowness of soul. This article is a meditation in Motahhari's understanding of ethics and it tries to present a systematic picture of it.
