تفسير اخلاقي، يكي از گونه هاي متمايز تفسير قرآن كريم است و از جمله مهم‌ترين مؤلفه-هاي اين مكتب تفسيري، مباني و زيرساخت‌هاي معرفتي آن محسوب مي شود. اعتقاد به وحياني بودن قرآن، حجيت ظواهر قرآن و جواز تفسير آن كه از مباني عام تفسيري است، در تفسير اخلاقي قرآن نيز وجود دارد اما آنچه رويكرد اخلاقي به تفسير قرآن را از ساير رويكردهاي تفسيري متمايز مي‌كند، مباني خاص آن است كه مهم‌ترين آنها عبارتند از: هدايت بخشي و انسان‌سازي قرآن، انحصار كمال انساني در اخلاق‌مداري، ملازمۀ مفاهيم قرآني با فضايل اخلاقي، اشتمال تكاليف شرعي بر بن‌مايه‌هاي اخلاقي و اخلاقي بودن زبان تخاطب در قرآن. بر اساس اين مباني و مستندات قرآني، روايي و عقلي كه زيرساخت اين مباني را تشكيل مي‌دهد، مي‌توان ادعا كرد كه در سراسر قرآن، مفاهيم اخلاقي در قالب و زبان خاصي حضور دارد. از اين رو عنايت به تفسير قرآن با رويكرد اخلاقي امري بايسته و ضروري است.

Therefore, it is essential to interpret the Quran with an ethical approach.
