زمينه و هدف: بهره‌وري يكي از محورهاي مهم و اساسي در توسعه، تعالي، رشد و پويايي در هر سازمان بوده و توسعه و تعالي سازماني نيز منوط به شناسايي ابعاد، مؤلفه‌ها و شاخص‌هاي بهره‌وري درآن سازمان است؛ بنابراين، هدف كلي تحقيق، شناسايي ابعاد، مؤلفه‌ها و شاخص‌هاي بهره‌وري در سازمان‌هاي حفاظتي است. از طرفي نيز مسئله تحقيق اين است كه بيشتر سازمان‌ها با مشكلاتي در زمينه ناكارايي برخي از كاركنان، نداشتن انگيزة مناسب در كاركنان، كمبود امكانات و تجهيزات، نداشتن مديريت قوي و اصولي، بي‌نظارتي و ارزيابي نكردن دقيق بر مجموعه، ناديده گرفتن قوانين و مقررات و ناتوانايي در استفادة بهينه از تمامي ظرفيت‌هاي موجود در سازمان روبه‌رو هستند؛ كه اين مسائل تأثير بسيار زيادي بر بهره‌وري سازمان دارد. روش‌شناسي: پژوهش حاضر از نظر هدف كاربردي و از نظر روش تحقيقِ به كار گرفته شده توصيفي و به لحاظ گردآوري اطلاعات از نوع تحقيقات كتابخانه‌اي و به لحاظ جمع‌آوري آمار و اطلاعات از نوع تحقيقات ميداني و براي تعيين پاسخ فرضيه‌هاي تحقيق از روش مصاحبه و پرسش‌نامه محقق‌ساخته استفاده گرديده است. با توجه به محدود بودن جامعة آماري تعداد 70 نفر از آنان به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شد. يافته‌ها و نتيجه‌‌گيري: نتيجة تحقيق نشان از اين دارد كه مؤلفه اندازه‌گيري كارايي جزيي با ضريب اهميت 54 درصد اولويت اول و مؤلفه اندازه‌گيري كارايي كلي با ضريب اهميت 45 درصد از كل داراي اولويت دوم در بين مؤلفه‌هاي كارايي است؛ بنابراين، اگر از طريق سطوح كلان مديريتي (ستاد كل نيروهاي مسلح و دفتر سياست‌گذاري و نظارت راهبردي حفاظت اطلاعات نيروهاي مسلح) نسبت به افزايش حقوق، مزايا و معيشت كاركنان سازمان‌ها پيگيري لازم معمول گردد، از ظرفيت‌هاي ديگر سازمان‌هاي حفاظتي براي پيشبرد هدف‌ها و اجراي مأموريت‌ها استفاده شود، از محافظه‌كاري و جزيره‌اي عمل‌كردن سازمان‌ها (ايجاد تعامل خوب و دوسويه) پرهيز شود- از سامانه‌هاي پيشرفتة حفاظتي در راستاي انجام مأموريت‌ها توسط سازمان استفاده گردد، مي‌تواند در ارتقا و افزايش بهره‌وري در سازمان‌هاي حفاظتي تأثير بسزايي داشته باشد.
