زمينه و هدف: اينترنت اشياء مفهومي جديد در دنياي فنّاوري اطلاعات و ارتباطات است. به صورت خلاصه اينترنت اشياء فنّاوري مدرني است كه در آن براي هر موجودي قابليت ارسال داده از طريق شبكه‌هاي ارتباطي فراهم مي‌گردد. با توجه به اينكه در آينده نه‌ چندان دور از اينترنت اشيا، در برنامه‌هاي كاربردي مانند مراقبت پزشكي (نظارت بر بيمار از راه دور، نظارت بر سالمندان)، شبكه هوشمند، اتوماسيون خانگي (امنيتي، گرمايشي، رعد و برق) و شهرهاي هوشمند (پايش‌ آلودگي، حوادث غيرمترقبه) استفاده خواهد شد، بايد چهارچوب مناسب اين سامانه‌ها طراحي شود. اين قراردادها بايد قابليت اطمينان و امنيت بالايي داشته باشند تا بتوانند در مقابل نفوذ و حملات به سيستم‌ها مقاومت نمايند. روش‌شناسي: اين مقاله از نوع تحقيقات كاربردي است و اطلاعات آن به شيوة اسنادي و كتابخانه‌اي جمع‌آوري شده است. در اين مقاله سعي شده است بايد‌ها و نبايدها در اين حوزه نوظهور بررسي و بر اساس آن پيشنهادهايي ارائه گردد. يافته‌ها و نتيجه‌گيري: اينترنت اشيا در واقع آيندة اينترنت را نشان مي‌دهد كه تمام ابزارها و وسايل با هم در ارتباط هستند و مي‌توانند دركي از محيط اطراف خود داشته و با ديگر وسايل و ابزار ارتباط برقرار نمايند. براي برقراري اين ارتباط نياز به قرارداد‌هاي ارتباط وجود دارد تا دستگاه‌ها بتواند از طريق آن با اينترنت و ديگر دستگاه‌ها ارتباط داشته باشند از اين رو بررسي جنبههاي امنيتي اين فنّاوري و ميزان امنيت قراردادهاي به كارگيري شده براي انجام احراز هويت يك نياز ضروري براي كاربران مختلف اين فنّاوري است؛ بنابراين، با توجه به مطالب ياد شده در اين مقاله سعي شد چالش‌ها و مشكلات امنيتي اين فنّاوري به دقت مورد بررسي قرار گيرد.
