تحول مفهومي دو اصطلاح «لر» و «لرستان» در منابع تاريخ ايران اسلامي

Conceptual evolution of the two terms "Lur" and "Lurist@n" in the sources of Iranian Islamic history

اصطلاح لر نخستين‌بار، در منابع سده‌هاي سه و چهار هجري به‌شكل «لور» آمده و اولين‌بار، در اشاره به يك روستا در خوزستان به كار رفته‌است و بعدها، با توسعۀ معنايي به مردمان نوار جنوبي زاگرس، از خوزستان تا فارس و از فارس تا خرم‌آباد كنوني، اطلاق شده‌است. همچنين اصطلاح «لُرستان» نخستين‌بار، در سدۀ ششم در منابع تاريخي آمده و با «لر» پيوند يافته‌است. به نظر مي‌رسد اصطلاح «لر»، در معناي مردم‌شناختي يا قوميتي آن، از سرزمين لر گرفته شده و به ساكنان اين سرزمين كوهستاني اطلاق شده‌است. همين امر سبب شده كه در سده‌هاي نخست اسلامي، اصطلاح لر با «كُرد»، كه آن هم به‌ كوه‌نشينان اشاره داد، پيوند يافته و گاه، ذيل آن قرار گرفته‌است. در اين پژوهش، دو اصطلاح لر و لرستان در منابع اسلامي و فرايند تداوم يا تحول آن‌ها در تاريخ ايران بعد از اسلام بررسي و تبيين مي‌شود. اين پژوهش مبتني بر روش تاريخي و متكي به داده‌هاي منابع مختلف تاريخي جغرافيايي و ديني است و باوجوداين، در برخي موارد و براي تدقيق بيشتر، از تحقيقات ميداني و تاريخ شفاهي هم در آن استفاده شده‌ است.

The term Lur was used for the first time in the sources of the thirth and fourth centuries AH and pointed to a village in Khuzistan. Later, by development of meaning, it denoted people of the southern strip of Zagros, from Khuzistan to Fars and from Fars to where is now known as KhorramAbad. The term "Lurist@n" was first mentioned in the sources of the sixth century and linked to Lur. It seems that the term Lur, in the meaning of a certain people or population, has been taken from the name of the mountainous land of Lur, where this people inhabited. This has led to the fact that in the first Islamic centuries, the term Lur linked to the term Kurd (which also points to mountain inhabitants) and sometimes placed under or instead of it. In this research, the development of the two terms Lur and Luristan in Islamic sources and the process of their continuation or transformation in the history of Iran has been investigated. This research is based on the historical method and relies on data from various sources of historical, geographical, and religious documents and nonetheless, in some cases, for more accuracy, some data borrowed from field studies and oral history.
