Theologians' Viewpoints toward the Origination of the World and Criticisms about Them

درباره حدوث و ازليت جهان دو ديدگاه مختلف (ازليت و غيرازليت) بين متألهان مطرح شده است. نويسنده در اين مجال بعد از تبيين مسئلۀ بحث و مفهوم‌شناسي، با توضيح سه رويكرد عقلي (حصر وجود مجرد به خدا، حدوث لازمه اصل اختيار و اراده، استحالۀ اضافه بر بي‌نهايت، نفس حدوث حادث دليل بر توقف و انقضاي گذشتۀ ازلي، ورود مبدأ بر حوادث گذشته مستلزم وجود مبدأ بر كل) و قرآني و روايي موافقان حدوث، به تحليل و ارزيابي ادلۀ آنان مي‌پردازد و در دلالت آنها بر نظريۀ حدوث، جرح وارد مي‌كند.

There are two different viewpoints among theologians about the origination and eternality of the world, i.e. eternality and non-eternality. The author of the present article first states the problem and presents the related discussions and concepts, and then goes on to explain five intellectual approaches (limiting the abstract being to God, considering the origination as a requirement for the principle of volition and will, transformation of anything other than the eternal, the origination of the created as being a reason for the pause and expiration of the eternal past, and the introduction of a startpoint for the previous creations requiring the existence of a startpoint for the whole) along with the qur’ānic and narrative evidences of the proponents of origination. Finally, the author analyzes and assesses their reasons and rejects their argument for the origination theory.
